We are delighted to announce that the AtFirstSite has been shortlisted in the UK’s Digital Safety Awards under the Best Educational Product or Service category, alongside big and established names like Google and the UK Safer Internet Center.

It is the first year for the awards, run by Internet Matters, and they are designed to recognise the best products, services and initiatives that help us keep our children safe online.

Recent research from Internet Matters revealed that:

  • Children spend 3 hours online on their smartphone everyday
  • 36% of children message people they have met online and don’t know
  • One in five change the social media safety settings enforced by their parents

We are honored to be considered alongside so many other organizations doing great work in making the internet a safer place for children.
