It’s been two years since we last updated @FirstSite and we are proud of the results: version 3 of the course has been redesigned, updated and improved in every way and is out now.
Based on teacher, student and expert PSHE feedback, we have overhauled every part of the eight-part course. Cultural and legal references are updated, the course now adopts a gender-neutral approach, worksheets and multimedia presentations have been revisited, and extra information and guidance has been added.

The teachers’ guides are sharper, the activities clearer and the course is now available in a single, interactive PDF file, with everything not more than one click or tap away. The course now extends to 74-pages, including worksheets.
It won’t have escaped your attention that one prominent social media platform was recently found – again – to have put its profits over young people’s welfare. It has never been more important to educate our young people on how to make sense of online content and its impact on their lives.

We have updated our lessons covering:
- Body image
- Healthy relationship
- Sexting
- Pornography
And we focused more on making it easier for teachers to deliver the course. It remains flexible and customizable, and the emphasis remains on guided worksheets and discussion, but we have also added a range of tools and resources to guide the process.
We have made several sample lessons available for review so you can see the new design and structure. If you have any questions, please do contact us.
